Hey everyone! I do hope that some of you still log in every once in a while to these forums.... I think it is JUST ABOUT TIME that we ALL meet up. (well, some of us, hopefull more than a large handfull). Right, whenever people say "Yeah sure, in a couple of weeks or something" it almost ALWAYS filters to nothing- like it has done fairly recently on here. SO. I'm stapling the date of 17th January* for a Jam Somewhere. We haven't seen each other for a long time, so let's train and socialise! *Date susceptible to change following suggestions! Discuss.

I would suggest hiring a gymnastics hall for the day, if that was on I would def be there and so would a lot of others I can imagine. Could you enquire at canterbury gym organising it soon and at cost so as not to make the entry price too steep.

that would be good, but it will be pricey and we would need a lot of people for it. but in some time we will organise another event similar to Canterbury Connection.
as the cold and wetness of the weather isn't lending that well to a session, perhaps organise a time for people to come to the Canterbury Movement session on a monday evening (7:30-9:30) and see and train each other. What do you think?
But i do favour an outdoor session though.

hey, I'm about to go out into canterbury for a bit- there aren't many people out as i don't think that many people check the boards much anymore!
i will do my best to get hold of as many people as possible in the near future (calling, chasing and going to their houses!) so we can get people together again.

The reason I mention the possibility of an indoor DAYTIME session is that aside from being more desirable regardless of less pleasant weather conditions. Its also somewhat problematic for others traveling back from evening classes due to poor train services and late nights when working the next day. A daytime session every fortnight could be of a longer duration and is likely to get a good turn out of not only old friends but new practitioners as well, keeping prices low due to decent numbers not to mention keeping the sessions priced based on COST NOT PROFIT
