Do your good deed for the day (week, month,...) and help out a poor student with a project! Heya, I'm Vanessa and a final year student at the University of Kent at Canterbury. For one of my classes, I need to do a photographic project, as well as meet and observe a certain group or community that engages in a particular activity, may it be religion, political, etc. Parcour/Free Running just looks insane to me, being the world's unathletic person, and I am thinking it would be great to do my project on the phenomena. However I can't do it without people. As I am not involved in freerunning myself and don't know any traceurs either, I am looking for a group, club or just group of friends that meet up in Canterbury to practice semi-regularly. Don't worry, this project hardly requires your involvement. Other the next 8 weeks, I would meet up with you guys, observe your training, and take photographs. We will have informal chats about parcour, what you like about it, what not, language terminology, and so forth. Once I have shot a few photos, we would chat about the pics. Any decent ones you like, I am happy to send to you as a thanks for your participation. If you don't mind being involved in this project and helping a student out, that would make my day!!! (I don't want to get stuck doing some boring project). Please message me either here or on the following if you are interested or have questions. Facebook: Vanessa Jade Richards email: vr42@kent.ac.uk Muchas gracias x

Hiya, im currently in Brighton so am unable to help out, but you are in luck in that canterbury is a regular training area, with both outdoor and indoor sessions. Kevin is one of the coaches that lives in the areas and il let him know so he can contact you. You're also lucky in that many of the members will have a lot of opinions to share on parkour, giving you plenty of material for your project. Good luck!

hey guys, thanks so much for replying. You would not believe how psyched I am that this project might actually happen!! I'm surprised I haven't seen any traceurs (hope I am getting the terminology right and not making a total douche of myself) in Canters. I am around campus, town and all bits in between quite a lot. Random. Messaged you back Kevin, really appreciate everyone's help.

I attend Kent Uni twice a week - I'm out of shape and probably a poor choice but if you need some help, I'll do what I can.
