i didn't like that, the music hurt my ears ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) and i couldn't read the small writing at all. but anyway, i thought we had discussed that a logo/intro is pretty pointless, a basic title in a video would work better.

growl <---- "would be" rage
*sigh* why do you need an intro again? You know good parkour videos, don't have a big, horrid, aggressive and noisy intro. They also don't have a big title saying "I am Falconkie." do you know why? Because they are all social videos capturing an event and EVERYONES enjoyment of parkour, quite frankly the "I am Falconkie." just signifies (to me at least) that you're being quite selfish as it seems the video and everything is all about you. The loud screaming music just seems to be a childish shout for attention and for the focus to all be on you.
I'm actually beginning to worry about you, because in reality; in the real world. That sort of behavior will get you initial attention (like this rant), but it will also make people want to just get away from you. And if the people you're trying to socialize with are traceurs, who specialize in getting away as fast as possible. You're going to find yourself on your own, very quickly.

hey my life my problems
there are loads of people with their own titles out there that have loads of friends so why can't i have one?
I don't want to be a sellout but i actually want to do all of these things that several Traceurs/ traceusses do physically (as in the movement, thats why i do it so i can improve) aswell as having their imagination (thats why i come up with these ideas).
The reasons for my videos and editing is because i'm a young filmmaker, i want to make videos to learn and experiance. like when oliewood made loads of videos and we complained at him, he came back and told us that he was a filmmaker and that he wanted to do it. thats my same excuse
P.S. btw stroodleftits and everyone this applys to find out some info first...
I'm a Samantic Pragmatic!

P.S. btw stroodleftits and everyone this applys to find out some info first... I'm a Samantic Pragmatic!I don't see how that changes things though, my sister has asperges (closely related) and she cant blame all her problems on that, and I think it's a bit unfair your saying that so we take sympothy and think oh it's ok what he's doing he's a Samantic Pragmatic. It still changes nothing, although your a cool guy to train with you, I worry when you post on the internet, I understand it can be difficult to make posts that make sense but just read them over a bit also learn to take constructive criticism, the way Doug reacted wsa because it seems if you've taken no advice completely ignored everyone and done your own thing. I think he finds it a bit offensive, I know I would Don't really understand this, Own titles? I've never seen any more than a name at the start of a video which tends to change in each video. Making title videos will not make you a better traceur, training will, and they style in which you have made your title I think could hind the knowledge your get from other traceurs, we're usually calm people not screaming RARARARARAARRARAARAAAAAA people. It sounds harsh completely insulting your music taste but as you said. And this implys your making videos for other people, not just yourself! You need to take into account the majority of peoples views, would they rather see a forced upon I AM FALCONKIE video screaming down your eyes or a calm video no intro straight to the video with music more fitting for what you do. I don't know if you will read this but if you do read it again, I'm no way in hell perfect but like other people I'm trying to help you. tl:dr - Making videos will not improve you as a traceur - If your a young filmaker, you need to think of other peoples thoughts not just your own

if you call yourself a young film maker, as well as actually shooting content, you need to think about how you will present it. a part of this is through learning what practical methods you can use to achieve what you see in your mind. even though you have said before that you have little money for better editing software and hardware, there are still some ways you can make better videos without spending money. for example, you can gain experience by experimenting with your camera using different filming techniques than usual. the main point here is sometimes it is better to keep some stuff to yourself and not upload everything to youtube straight away. another way to gain experience is by very carefully watching popular videos and seeing what makes them so good, apart from the parkour of course.
i hope this post made sense, i rushed through it a bit...

your getting good adivce from some of the most respected tracuers on the forum so listen to them read it 2 or 3 times because thats what i do.
also do your homework!
look at that other tracuers and even youung film makers are doing. dont mace up an idea but take and adapt. [i'm probably gonna get attacked for saying this] but movie maker is a very underrated program. u can use it well. trust. i may not show that but other people do.
but even if your not using movie maker. do your homework!. you have the internet and its a massive resource. so use it. check out intros, training ideas, look at peoples style, and how they move.
and again as i say allmost everytime. THINK!.

Not at all I totally agree, I have made some videos using movie maker that I'm very proud of, it's a very simple piece of software to use and when used correctly can deliver excellent results. Theres many different .xml files around which can improve movie maker which may seem hard to install at first but it's really very simple Lecko posted a link before which I dont know if you looked at or not but this is for everyone www.windowsmoviemakers.net/helped me alot
