As some of you may now feiyue have gone up in price considerably now around £30 on average. There are some places left that are still selling for less, if anyone wants a pair theres a local martial arts club in maidstone doing them for £12. Tell me prior to a training day( or tell me on msn if we train toghther regularly and I'll pick you up a pair (you will need to give me back the £12 when i give you the shoes ) Might be worth stickying for future users

Thanks Serious. I might well be getting a few pars! I'm fairly convinced however that if the price dose indeed go up we simply need to find the original manufacturer in China to import a load more cheaply.

Yes they are... But tbh there for a very advance level as they have very little foot support to feel your every step...not good for new comers

i wouldn't recommend getting some until you are fully confident with your landings etc i take it you're new? i would say get some nice light but solid and comfatable trainers for jams, and trying some very low impact stuff in barefeet. try jumping about a foot in the air and landing as softly as you can, maintaining balance as well as silence, if you can. if not, keep on trying! a lot of practise is needed but it will come in time. edit: haha that was the first post i read of yours, helen, sorry about that i assumed you were new. if you do feel confident enough, feel free to get some. i haven't got any myself so don't rely on my opinion but i've heard really good things about them. they just wear out pretty fast which is why i stick to trainers/barefoot.
